The Accountant is responsible for a wide range of accounting activities which consists of general ledger entries, balance sheet reconciliations, Accounts Payables, month-end close and other duties as assigned. This position reports to the Accounting Manager. Responsibilities: * Responsible for high volume accounts payables (AP) invoice processing on 2 and 3-way match purchases. * Supervise weekly AP invoice on hold report. * Compile and monitor AP Aging Report. * Forecasting of weekly payment registers. * Work with Procurement or suppliers to resolve invoice/purchase order discrepancies. * Prepare journal entries and accruals for assigned accounts. * Assist in reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and variances analysis to identify/research/resolve unusual balances. * Assist in annual external audit as well as our annual 401(k) audit. * Special projects as assigned. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Experience and/or Training: * 2 to 3 years of accounting experience. * Understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) controls. * Ability to work with all levels of management and operational groups. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Detail oriented. * Strong problem-solving skills. The annual salary range for this role is $58,960-$88,440. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
