Grants and Contracts Manager

Location: Albany, NY (On-site)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $62,000–$70,000 annually

About the Role

The Center for Economic Growth (CEG) is seeking a highly organized and detail‐oriented Grants and Contracts Manager to support our Manufacturing Solutions team and the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) program. This role oversees grant reporting, contract management, project coordination, and financial workflows that keep our programs running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Grant Management

• Prepare, review, and submit quarterly federal and state grant reports
• Manage grant applications, submissions, records, and follow‐up reporting
• Maintain accurate data in state and federal grant systems
• Prepare monthly and quarterly vouchers for grant reimbursement

Contract Administration

• Maintain client, partner, and third‐party contract information in Salesforce
• Coordinate invoicing with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Support B2B and B2C contract activities
• Assist with developing client project proposals

Project & Program Support

• Coordinate project timelines to ensure successful delivery by staff and vendors
• Manage project surveys and success stories
• Support program staff during trainings and occasional events
• Help develop and improve business processes across teams

CRM & Data Management

• Ensure accurate contract and project records in Salesforce
• Create and run CRM reports as needed
• Support the integration and maintenance of business process flows in Salesforce

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time‐management skills
• Proficiency with CRM systems ( Salesforce preferred )
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and common virtual meeting tools
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills; proactive, adaptable, and detail‐oriented

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with state or federal grant or contract management
• Experience with B2B or B2C contract administration
• Familiarity with accounting practices and working with budgets

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Occasional support for events outside regular business hours

Compensation & Benefits
