Supervisory Firefighter

Firefighting Supervisor Directly supervise civilian employees and military personnel, as applicable. Direct the placement of equipment, personnel, application of fire extinguishing agents and rescue personnel. Perform firefighting duties such as handling hose, performing rescue operations, extinguishing fire, performing as a HAZ/MAT team member, performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency first aid as required. Ensure that personnel and equipment are in a constant state of readiness for immediate response to firefighting and rescue operations. Plan work to be accomplished, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
