RTCA is hiring a Recruiter for a full-time, onsite role in Chatsworth, CA . This 6-month temporary project may convert based on business needs. You’ll support a smooth recruiting experience end-to-end while partnering closely with hiring managers and the broader HR team. What you’ll do Manage candidates through the full recruitment life cycle, from resume review and phone/video prescreens to onsite interview coordination , offer negotiation , and support for onboarding . Review applications to evaluate candidates’ skill sets and determine which positions and job levels they are best suited for. Conduct phone and/or video interviews to assess qualifications , competencies , and career goals . Source actively using platforms such as LinkedIn , Indeed , ZipRecruiter , and other professional resources, including outreach messaging and direct phone calls to engage passive candidates. Partner with hiring managers to present well-vetted recommendations based on prescreen findings and fit. Administer skills testing as part of the qualification process. Coordinate onsite interview logistics and keep the process moving by driving timely feedback from hiring managers. Provide consistent, professional pipeline communication so candidates have a positive experience. Develop offer recommendations and negotiate offers aligned with candidate expectations , qualifications , and budget considerations . Maintain accurate, organized candidate documentation throughout the recruiting process. Perform other duties as assigned. What you bring Previous experience with full-cycle recruiting , including resume review, sourcing, and use of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) . Proven ability to proactively source candidates through LinkedIn , Indeed , ZipRecruiter , and similar platforms. Strong written communication skills and the ability to draft clear, professional correspondence. Comfortable and experienced conducting phone and video prescreens . Strong typing skills to take detailed notes while screening candidates. Ability to develop interview questions that assess both hard (technical) and soft (personality) skills. Sound judgment to evaluate skill sets and determine fit for hiring-team consideration. Experience using Microsoft Office tools: Word , Excel , and Outlook . Proficiency maintaining accurate recruiting documentation and records. Preferred qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related field of study. Experience using ADP WorkforceNow . Prior recruiting experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
