Our Adult Residential Program provides supportive group homes for adults with developmental disabilities, guided by a person-centered, team-based approach. We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Care Staff to join our residential team. In this role, you will provide hands-on support to adults with developmental disabilities in a group home setting. You will assist residents with daily living activities, implement individualized support plans, and promote independence, dignity, and community involvement. Position Details:- Location: North Hills
- Full-Time, Part-Time and Relief positions available
- Provide direct care and support to residents by implementing individualized service plans (ISPs) and promoting social, emotional, physical, and personal well-being
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, housekeeping, budgeting, shopping, and other independent living skills
- Administer and monitor medications, follow medical orders, assist with health-related needs, and maintain accurate documentation and daily charting
- Transport and accompany residents to community activities, medical appointments, and other scheduled outings
- Support individuals who may exhibit challenging behaviors, utilizing approved crisis intervention techniques and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment
- Serve as a positive role model by communicating professionally with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders, while participating in required trainings, meetings, and program activities
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, not required
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 6 months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or related neurodivergent populations
- Computer skills for electronic charting
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment
