Java Kafka Developer Role and Responsibilities: • Strong hands-on 8+ years of experience as Java Developer with strong Kafka expertise to design, develop, and support high-performance, event driven applications • Design, develop, and maintain Java based enterprise applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture. • Build and manage event driven systems using Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and schemas • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable and resilient solutions. • Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with downstream and upstream systems. • Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance tuning of Kafka and Java applications. • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Final offers are based on several factors, including the candidate's skills and experience, internal pay equity, work location, market conditions for the role, and the specific scope and responsibilities of the position. The top of the range is reserved for candidates who notably exceed the requirements; the lower end applies to those with less experience or fewer preferred qualifications.
