Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse (Weekends)

Position Overview Compassus is a home‑based integrated care provider seeking a Hospice On‑Call Registered Nurse (RN) for a salaried position. On‑call hours are every Friday 5p.m.‑Monday 8a.m., with additional shifts for emergencies. Responsibilities Provide hospice patient care after‑hours and during the weekend as needed. Enable patients to spend quality time with loved ones and engage in preferred activities. Build trusting, compassionate relationships with patients and families. Empower caregivers by educating them on the care of their loved one. Maintain patient comfort and support families through coping strategies during after‑hours emergencies. Requirements RN license in the state where the assignment is located. Two years of experience as a registered nurse; hospice experience preferred. Current driver’s license. Certification in CPR and BCLS. Flexibility to meet agency‑staffing needs; typical schedules may include weekend‑only, weeknight‑only, or seven‑on/seven‑off cycles. Schedule & Compensation On‑call shift: Friday 5p.m. – Monday 8a.m.; possible extended hours for emergencies. Competitive salary with comprehensive onboarding.
