The Medical Assistant will perform routine clinical procedures, participate in patient education, enter appropriate documentation into patients' health records, and perform all other duties as assigned within the scope of their certification.Inclement Weather Status: Required to reportJob Purpose:To provide healthcare services to patients under the instruction of the Physician or APPsJob Requirements:Education:High School DiplomaGraduation from an accredited Medical Assistant programLicenses and/or Certifications:National/Registered Medical Assistant CertificationBasic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart AssociationWork Experience:Minimum 2 years of professional Medical Assistant experience in a practice, preferredMethodist Medical Group is the North Texas physician organization affiliated with Methodist Health System.
