Registered Nurse - PACU and Outpatient ServicesThis position offers a schedule of four 10-hour shifts, with variable scheduling and a shared on-call rotation for PACU duties.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the PACU and Outpatient Services area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and expertise in Pre-operative, Post-operative, PACU, Phase II recovery, Endoscopy, and Infusion services. This opportunity is available for a contract duration.ResponsibilitiesProvide thorough nursing assessments and peri-operative education to patients.Recognize and manage post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.Float between various outpatient service areas, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Pre-operative Clinic, and PACU.Administer conscious sedation during special procedures as needed.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMinimum of two years of experience in SSSU, PACU, Pre-operative, and Post-operative nursing is required. Candidates must have a valid RN license.
