As we expand our Fine Gardening division, we’re seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Fine Gardening & Estate Maintenance Technicians. This role is ideal for those who take pride in meticulous outdoor work, enjoy working with plants, and want to grow their skills in a supportive, established company. Responsibilities Hand‑weed and rake mulch beds to maintain the pristine appearance of high‑end properties. Perform selective pruning of ornamental trees, shrubs, and perennials to promote plant health and enhance aesthetics. Irrigate and fertilize annual beds, borders, planters, and window boxes as needed. Plant annuals, install seasonal and holiday décor, and rotate spring and fall displays for vibrant seasonal color. Remove debris and ensure all sites are left clean and tidy after each visit. Operate power equipment occasionally for hedge trimming, light mulch spreading, and transporting small equipment. For top candidates: Assist with the design and layout of annual and perennial displays. Qualifications At least 1 year of hands‑on landscape or garden maintenance experience, or strong personal gardening experience. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all New England weather conditions. Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation. Demonstrated positive attitude, punctuality, and attention to detail. Experience with power pruners or hedge trimmers (preferred). Basic plant identification and pruning knowledge (preferred). Experience with truck and trailer operation (preferred). Horticulture coursework or MCH/MCLP certification, or a desire to earn certification (preferred; company sponsorship available).
