3rd Grade ELAR Teacher Lago Vista Elementary School is a PK-3rd grade campus of approximately 520 students. Major Responsibilities & Duties Provide classroom instruction to students; Support classroom instruction based on TEKS; Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to understand student needs, identify appropriate interventions, and modify curriculum for students, as needed; Gather and analyze data to monitor student progress towards goals; Meet with parents, counselors, and agency representatives, as needed; Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with research and best practices to be implemented in the classroom; Establish and maintain rules, conduct, and discipline consistent with District policies and procedures in order to foster an environment that is conducive to learning; Follow District safety protocols and emergency procedures; and Other duties as assigned.
