PositionSummary
TheResidentialCarpentryForemanisresponsibleforplanning,coordinating,andsupervisingdailyfieldoperationswhileactivelyparticipatingincarpentrywork.Thispositionensuresprojectsarecompletedsafely,efficiently,onschedule,andtoSRFreeman ' shighstandardsofqualityandcraftsmanship.
TheForemanservesasaleader,coach,mentor,andtechnicalexpertwhodevelopsteammembers,maintainsclientsatisfaction,anddrivesprojectsuccessthroughplanning,communication,accountability,andexceptionalworkmanship.
EssentialDutiesandResponsibilities
CrewLeadership
- Leadandsupervisecrewsofcarpenters,apprentices,andlaborers.
- Conductdailykickoffmeetingsandcommunicateproductiongoals.
- Assignworktasksandestablishdailyexpectations.
- Monitorcrewperformance,productivity,andquality.
- Coach,mentor,andtrainlessexperiencedcarpenters.
- Fosteraccountability,teamwork,andprofessionaldevelopment.
- Addressfieldperformanceissuesandcommunicateconcernstomanagement.
ProjectCoordination &Planning
- Executeandmaintainprojectschedulesandtwo -weeklook-aheadplans.
- Coordinatemanpower,materials,equipment,anddeliveries.
- Reviewblueprints,specifications,RFIs,sketches,andchangeorders.
- Anticipateprojectchallengesanddevelopproactivesolutions.
- CoordinateactivitieswithProjectManagers,Superintendents,GeneralContractors,architects,engineers,homeowners,andsubcontractors.
- Ensureprojectsremainonscheduleandwithinscope.
QualityControl
- Ensureallworkcomplieswithprojectplans,specifications,andcompanystandards.
- Performregularinspectionsofcompletedandongoingwork.
- Identifyandcorrectdeficienciesimmediately.
- Maintainthehigheststandardsofcraftsmanshipandattentiontodetail.
- Ensurefinishedworkmeetsclientexpectationsandprojectrequirements.

RequiredQualifications
Experience
- Minimumfour(4)yearsofresidentialroughframingandfinishcarpentryexperience.
- PreviousexperienceasaForeman,LeadCarpenter,CrewLead,Superintendent,orsimilarleadershiprolepreferred.
- Experiencemanaginganddirectingconstructioncrews.
- Experienceworkingonluxurycustomresidentialconstructionprojects.
TechnicalSkills
- Advancedknowledgeofroughframingandfinishcarpentrytechniques.
- Abilitytoreadandinterpretblueprints,specifications,layouts,andconstructiondocuments.
