Overview
Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Utica, NY. Start date 10/19/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,265 to $2,434 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift is a 12-hour evening schedule. This position is a hospital-based role in the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ED for pediatric and adult patients, including triage, assessment, monitoring, and timely interventions
- Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered; monitor responses and adjust as needed; manage patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, techs, and ancillary staff; participate in resuscitations and code events; document actions in the electronic medical record (EPIC)
- Support patient flow, disposition planning, and appropriate referrals; assist with pediatrics and geriatric needs; maintain accurate nursing documentation
- Float to other units as required by unit policy; adapt to high-acuity situations while maintaining clinical competency and patient safety

Requirements
- Active New York RN license with license verification (NURSYS)
- Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
- ED nursing experience: 2+ years; travel experience required
- EMR experience: EPIC
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ED environment; willingness to float per unit policy
- Travel eligibility: must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates may receive a local rate
