Job Description As a Security Officer Access Control in San Juan Capistrano, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and alarm response while providing exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.39 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon09:00 PM - 05:00 AMThur01:00 PM - 09:00 PMFri09:00 PM - 05:00 AMSat09:00 PM - 05:00 AMSun09:00 PM - 05:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, patients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare laboratory location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery access procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. A guard card/license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
