Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit. This role involves working overnight shifts with a focus on patient monitoring and support in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer bedside care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown units during overnight shifts.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status continuously to promptly identify changes.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress and interventions accurately in compliance with hospital protocols.
  
  
• 
  Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license in the state of practice.
  
  
• 
  BLS certification required; Epic experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules.
  
  
• 
  Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
