For this Assistant Director of School Operations position, you'll be considered fort one of our Philadelphia schools, part of the Freire Schools network -  established, rigorous college-prep programs designed to unlock creativity and potential in our students. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you'll be responsible for working with the leadership and staff  to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You'll play a critical role in student recruitment and admissions needs along with other duties in relation to report cards, events, and after-school activities. 

• Drive and manage all student admissions and recruitment
• Coordinate after-school activities
• Manage and support members of the Operations Team 
• Organize Powerschool, Back to School Night, Conferences, and large scale events (Prom, Graduation)
• Oversee grade submission and all aspects of report card distribution. 

You're the person who keeps Freire's daily operations running smoothly and efficiently, bringing sharp organizational instincts, a bias toward action, and an unwavering belief in our students' capacity for success, while exuding and cultivating our values of equity, love, critical thinking, and diversity in everything you do.

• A bachelor's degree, preferably in management, education, business, or another related field
• Three or more years of experience in operations, education, or another related field 
• Experience establishing and maintaining procedures, processes, and systems
• Ability to manage internal and external relationships with stakeholders, including leaders, support staff, vendors, parents, neighbors, and others.
• Strong project management/time management skills

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000. We offer a competitive salary based on your experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes health, dental, vision, and more. Pennsylvania employees are enrolled in Freire's 403(b) retirement plan which includes a 5% contribution from Freire.
