As the Senior Product Manager for Docusign Core Services Platforms, you will be the single owner responsible for defining the system strategy that supports Docusign’s largest enterprise customers. Your success will be measured by your ability to translate deeply technical, multi-system impact into tangible business outcomes and ensure our most strategic initiatives launch efficiently. You bring deep technical acumen and thrive owning products built on highly complex, distributed platforms, where success depends on understanding system architecture, data models, and failure modes as well as customer and business requirements. You are comfortable reading technical design docs, APIs, logs, and schemas; collaborating closely with architects and engineers to shape resilient, scalable solutions; and asking the right probing questions to uncover upstream and downstream impacts of a change. You can translate intricate, multi-system behavior into clear requirements and tradeoffs, make sound decisions for customer and business in the face of ambiguity, and proactively identify risks, edge cases, and technical debt in large, business critical platforms.This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Lead Product Manager .ResponsibilityAct as the internal owner and advocate for the core platform layer, connecting technical investment to customer valueLead the Strategy and Roadmap for delivering Docusign Core Services initiatives, serving as the connective tissue between platform strategy and customer experienceProfile systematically high-value, innovative business use cases while skillfully navigating the complexity of highly technical, distributed systems (e.g., microservices architecture)Drive the vision and requirements for complex, multi-system platform changes, translating these into clear, developer-ready functional specifications and a delightful customer experienceChampion launch efficiency for new features and pricing packages, proactively identifying and clearing technical debt and communication blockersDefine and operationalize the success metrics (KPIs) for platform performance and customer-facing usage features in collaboration with Data Science, using telemetry to guide continuous testing and experimentationDevelop a deep understanding of key customer personas, struggles, and Jobs to be Done by leveraging primary and secondary research across the customer lifecycleFacilitate requirements definition across teams to create detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, while rigorously identifying dependencies and relative priority with other product managersEnsure seamless collaboration with Program Management, Design, and Engineering to guarantee products ship on time and to quality standardsDrive successful go-to-market and adoption by collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Pricing, Sales, Support, Legal, Security, and other internal partnersJob DesignationHybrid:Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. Docusign reserves the right to change a position's job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.What you bringBasicBachelor’s Degree in a technology-related area of study (e.g., CS, EE, IT, Systems, MIS)6+ years of directly relevant experience in product management for SaaS products and services with a Master’s degree OR 8+ years with a Bachelor’s degreeExperience with distributed systems and microservices architecture that enables product at high enterprise scaleExperience building and gaining consensus on comprehensive business cases for new product capabilities and innovationsExperience delivering products using iterative or Agile methodologiesPreferredMaster’s degree in Computer Science, a closely related advanced degree (M.S., M.Eng, M.IT.), or Master of Business AdministrationStrong Growth Mindset: A consistent passion for continuous learning and a willingness to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities can shiftSense of Ownership: You are self-directed, manage a complex workload with autonomy, and demonstrate a consistent track record of seeing projects through to launch, adoption, and ongoing healthExceptional executive presence and dynamic communication skills (verbal and written), with the agility to shift seamlessly between strategic vision and technical detail based on the audienceDemonstrated Systems Thinking: Proven ability to anticipate downstream impact, connect seemingly disparate technical components, and prioritize investments based on total system benefitProven ability to build lasting, cross-functional partnerships with both internal (Engineering, UX, Sales, etc.) and external groupsWage TransparencyPay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $140,100.00 - $206,775.00 base salaryThis role is also eligible for the following:Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals.
