Position Details Employment Status: Full time Shift: Any Day, Any Shift (United States of America) Facility: 1 Health Cir - Lexington Requisition Number: R159528 Two Skills Tech (CT/XRay)- days (Rockbridge) (Open) How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare Up to a $30,000 sign‑on bonus, up to $7,000 in relocation assistance is available. Hours: Primarily Monday‑Friday; days with one weekend per month required. Will also cover other shifts as needed. Responsibilities Perform a variety of technical procedures for radiological diagnosis or treatment of patients, using injection skills as needed and other related techniques to produce images for interpretation by a radiologist or other credentialed specialist. Operate highly specialized, technical equipment to obtain quality images. Perform IV contrast injections and other skills as required. Schedule and register patients; maintain patient files. Evaluate, prepare, position and observe patients with a high degree of professional ethics, care, courtesy, patience and safety. Comply with all Carilion Clinic and Imaging policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines. Train students and staff as assigned. Interpret information needed to identify patient’s requirement relative to specific needs and provide care per applicable policy and procedures. Interact with patients, families, visitors and all members of the healthcare team to develop, coordinate and manage the plan of care. Work with physicians, other healthcare providers and patients. May provide care at other Carilion facilities to meet patient needs. Qualifications Education: High school graduate or GED. Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology, other associated imaging technologies, or other approved training in Angiography, Diagnostic Radiology, Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine or Ultrasound. Experience: none. Licensure/Certification: ARRT registry, registry eligible or other required certifications per modality. AHA BLS‑HCP required. Modality specific registries required within specified timeframes (e.g., Mammography registry within 24 months, MRI registry within specified time). Interpersonal, technical skills and flexibility in assignments. Must function independently, good computer and communication skills. Compensation Range: $30.47 - $45.71 per hour. Pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
