Applicants who meet the education and experience requirements and are within six months of obtaining the required certifications will be allowed to continue in the competitive recruitment process; and if successful, will be placed on the eligible list. However, an applicant shall not be referred for the department hiring interview until completion and receipt of the qualifying certifications.
