Litigation Paralegal – Los Angeles or San Francisco A highly regarded international law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Dispute Resolution team in either Los Angeles or San Francisco . This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation paralegal interested in sophisticated, high-level matters involving complex commercial disputes and other contentious matters. The paralegal will work closely with attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, including discovery, depositions, court filings, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation. The ideal candidate will have strong California and federal court filing experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assist attorneys with all phases of complex litigation matters Manage electronic and hard-copy discovery, document productions, and case files Prepare and maintain privilege logs and organize large volumes of case-related materials Proofread, cite-check, format, and prepare briefs, pleadings, exhibits, appendices, and other legal documents Electronically file documents in California state and federal courts and coordinate service Assist with preparation of declarations, statements, and other court filings Conduct factual and legal research and retrieve cases and other materials through Westlaw Maintain litigation calendars and track court and case deadlines Coordinate preparation for depositions, hearings, conferences, mediations, and arbitrations Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit management, evidence organization, and logistical support Work with litigation databases and eDiscovery platforms Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other members of the litigation team Qualifications 3–5+ years of litigation paralegal experience Strong experience with California state and federal court e-filing Knowledge of California Rules of Court, Federal Rules, local court procedures, PACER, and related filing requirements Experience preparing and organizing documents and exhibits for attorney review Strong proofreading, cite-checking, research, writing, and document-formatting skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems; iManage experience preferred Familiarity with eDiscovery platforms such as DISCO is a plus Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Ability to independently manage competing deadlines while working collaboratively with a team Flexibility for overtime and occasional travel as matters require Compensation $85,000–$120,000 , depending on experience and other job-related factors.
