Day to day as a Counselor As a Full-Time Counselor with Family Resources Inc., you will play a crucial role in providing essential counseling services to youth and families in both shelter and community settings. Your responsibilities will include helping clients identify challenges and develop effective solutions through a comprehensive approach that involves assessment, planning, case management, and various counseling formats—individual, family, and group sessions. With an active caseload, you’ll maintain regular contact with clients, ensuring they receive the personalized support they need. Must possess excellent organizational skills well developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively deal with complex issues. Should possess characteristics that show sound judgment in fulfilling position duties and responsibilities as well as a cooperative attitude in working relationships with senior members of management. Masters Degree in Psychology Counseling Social Work or related field supplemented by a minimum of two years post graduate experience in individual family and group counseling.
