Security Guard Part Time 8-Hour Night Shift job at Community Hospital of Huntington Park. Huntington Park, CA. Security Guard Part Time 8-Hour Night Shift The position of Security Guard is responsible for all aspects of the Security and Safety in the hospital. Performs a variety of duties and rounds to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, illegal entry to assure the personal safety of employees, patients, visitors, and physicians. Actively and consistently contributes to operations and communications, behaves in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Pipeline Health, upholding standards of AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank you) patient communication. Experience: Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, strong organizational skills, ability to follow verbal instructions, and PC (computer) skills. Six (6) months to one (1) year of current experience in an acute hospital setting as a security guard, preferred Licensure/Certifications:

• Current Guard Card.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association (AHA).
• Current CPI (AB508) Certification.
