The position demands utilizing technical expertise to produce diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and compliance with department protocols for acute trauma and general radiography examinations. Job Details Certifications: Must be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or be registry eligible; if eligible, registry must be obtained within six months of hire. Healthcare Provider certification required (Basic Cardiac Life Support). Education/Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent; 0 years of experience required. Location Requirements: Not specified. Schedule: Shift from 3:00 AM to 3:00 PM; 12-hour shift; minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Skills: Radiologic procedures, radiographic techniques, patient positioning, radiation safety practices, intravenous contrast media administration, patient care functions, PACS image management, radiology information system. Additional Skills: Medical record documentation, teamwork, customer service, flexibility, initiative, willingness to learn, respect for diversity, clinical protocol review. Responsibilities include explaining procedures to patients, preparing and analyzing clinical data, setting up equipment, performing imaging procedures, selecting and administering contrast media, ensuring radiation safety, and maintaining accurate medical records. Must have experience with Level 1 or Level 2 trauma and previous operating room experience.
