Maintenance Technician Olen is seeking a skilled and motivated, full‑time Maintenance Technician for our multifamily apartment community in Gilbert, AZ: Highland Groves. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall satisfaction and well‑being of our residents. Technical expertise and dedication to quality workmanship will contribute to creating a comfortable and enjoyable living environment for our residents. Responsibilities Perform apartment maintenance tasks, including maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, or replacing items such as plumbing, electrical, appliances, and air conditioning. Assist with the preparation of vacant apartments for occupancy and help with apartment turnover in general. Participate in community maintenance duties, including building maintenance, preventative maintenance, service request completion, groundskeeping, and other tasks as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one to two years of related maintenance experience and/or training. Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping people. Ability to communicate effectively and in a positive manner with residents, vendors, and co‑workers. Knowledge of Fair Housing laws. Capable of frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, occasionally moving or maneuvering up to 100 pounds. Have reliable transportation to and from work. Must provide and use their own hand tools to perform duties unless otherwise specified by the property. Effective problem solving and time management skills. Good attention to detail. Team player attitude. Able to respond to emergency calls after scheduled work hours, weekends, and holidays when needed.
