Faculty Tutor III (Part-time)- Computer Science

Faculty Tutor III (Part‑time) – Computer Science Join Houston Community College (HCC) as a Faculty Tutor III on a part‑time basis. In this role you will teach, mentor, and act as an academic advisor for students in computer science courses. Responsibilities Teach undergraduate computer science courses and facilitate student learning. Provide mentorship and academic advising to students. Contribute to curriculum development and academic initiatives. Qualifications Master’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems with a minimum of 18 graduate hours completed in computer science; master’s transcript required. Doctorate preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a combination of teaching and commercial software development. Experience with technology used in distance education a plus.
