Staff Accountant

Responsibilities Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement financials Manage daily cash forecasting across 10 entities Analyze and maintain fixed asset and construction-in-progress (CIP) accounts Prepare and post general ledger journal entries Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Perform and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Prepare supporting schedules and workpapers for external tax advisors Calculate, prepare, and file monthly and quarterly sales, use, and local taxes Support the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and accounting procedures Complete ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed Skills/Experience Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate data, and recommend solutions Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications; experience with databases is a plus Education, Qualifications & Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 0–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Buyers Products Company
