From designing resilient highways and iconic bridges to advancing transit, passenger and freight rail, aviation, federal transportation ports and marine infrastructure, your work will directly support economic vitality, public safety, sustainable and resilient communities and quality of life. In the role of Environmental Scientist II, we'll count on you to Collect project-related data, which may include research, conducting surveys for listed species, interviews with government agencies and clients, map reviews, field investigations for wetlands, land use, etc Assimilate and manage data Prepare constraints mapping Define the level of environmental analysis required Conduct environmental impact assessments Perform complex assignments, making independent decisions on problems and methods Assist in preparation for and participation in public information meetings and hearings Assist public and private clients with permit coordination, acquisition and compliance Work independently on medium-size projects, or assist more-senior scientists on larger projects Perform other related duties as needed Preferred Qualifications 2 years experience as a CESL inspector on construction sites. The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location: $88,116 - $125,880. (Stated benefits are for full‑time regular positions.
