Job Title

Registered Nurse – PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)

Location

Charleston, SC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours/Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit setting with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3
• Float within scope of practice to all pediatric units as needed to meet facility demands, including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU
• Participate in weekend shift rotations, with a minimum of 3–4 weekend shifts per schedule period
• Adhere to holiday rotation requirements as assigned
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November) as required

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact RN License (SC license must be active prior to start date)
• Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Current PALS certification (American Heart Association only)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation)
• Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
