Position Title: Metal Fabricator I

Reports To: Metal Fab Supervisor Position Summary The Metal Fabricator I is an entry-level fabrication role responsible for supporting the production of high-quality metal components under direct supervision. This position focuses on learning Clemco's standard work, developing technical skill, and contributing to a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. This role supports our commitment to Speed, Agility, and Simplification by learning to perform tasks correctly the first time and continuously improving skill and process knowledge. Key Responsibilities

• Learn and perform basic fabrication tasks following detailed drawings and written instructions
• Assist with machine setups under supervision
• Operate fabrication equipment after proper training
• Read and interpret simple drawings and work orders
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
• Maintain quality standards through careful inspection of work
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided if needed)
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Participate in 5S and continuous improvement efforts
• Support team members to meet daily production demand
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills

• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of decimals and fractions)
• Ability to read simple drawings and specifications
• Willingness to learn machine operations and setups
• Ability to read measuring instruments accurately
