We pride ourselves on maintaining a small company feel.This is a logistical support position to the Maintenance/Engineering Department. This position assists in the capital project construction and maintenance construction through planning, scheduling of resources and the requisitioning of material. Position Qualifications:This requires High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; a BS degree in an engineering or technical field is preferred. Requires 5 years' experience in maintenance, construction, or operations, or assessed as qualified by the Assistant Maintenance Manager and or the Maintenance / Engineering Manager. This requires excellent communication (written and verbal) and organization skills. Requires a working knowledge of mechanical repairs, welding practices, pipefitting, carpentry, instrumentation and electrical. Must have experience with Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word. Working knowledge of Primavera planning software is preferred. This requires successful completion of training requirements as outlined by the Maintenance Department. Must have successfully completed and passed a Functional Job Capacity Evaluation (FCE). Responsibilities Include the Following:Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace at all timesKeep safe work habits as the highest priority at all timesStrive to develop good working relationships with all co-workers, customers and associatesGenerate and distribute departmental reportsMaintain equipment filesMaintain master data and records in SAPAnalyze SAP work orders pertaining to construction work for manpower, material and equipment requirementsAssure proper coding of SAP work ordersMaintain work order backlog and work order statusRequisition material and servicesCoordinate work between different crafts and planner groupsLiaison between Operations, Maintenance / Engineering and contractors to assure proper permitting and scheduling of workVerify completion of work orders and document services and repairsPlan and develop daily work schedules for ERI Crafts and ContractorsCoordinate unit shutdown and Turnaround (TAR) planning and scheduling activitiesGenerate piping, alteration and repair (PAR) ChecklistsResponsible for grounds maintenanceAssist with various tasks as needed and directed by Assistant Maintenance ManagerAvailable for callout by Maintenance / Engineering DepartmentErgon Refining, Inc. is an EEO/AAP employer.Ergon offers a competitive benefits package: 401k matching, Health, Life, Dental, Holidays, Vacation, Sick Leave, Tuition Assistance, and Profit Sharing.Employment offer contingent upon pre-employment drug test, background check, and MVR.Position to be filled: Construction Lead/PlannerLocation: Vicksburg, MS
