Providers benefit from a collaborative, team-based environment supported by modern cath labs, advanced EP equipment, dedicated staff, and strong administrative infrastructure.Position SummaryThe facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiologist to join its growing cardiovascular team in Dothan, Alabama.This is a full-time position offering a mix of outpatient EP clinic, inpatient consults, device management, and EP procedures. Candidates must have completed an EP fellowship and have expertise in device implantation, EP studies, ablations, and arrhythmia management.New graduates and experienced EP cardiologists are welcome to apply.Essential Position ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive outpatient EP and cardiology consultationsManage arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, SVT, VT, syncope, and conduction disordersInterpret ECGs, Holters, event monitors, and device interrogationsPerform EP procedures, including: Pacemaker and ICD implantationEP studiesAblationsCardioversionsSupport inpatient cardiology with consults, rounding, and device evaluationsCollaborate closely with interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, heart failure teams, and hospitalistsSupervise and collaborate with APPs in clinic and hospital settingsParticipate in multidisciplinary cardiac care meetingsMaintain accurate clinical documentation within the EHRSupport outreach and program expansion efforts as neededQualificationsEducationM.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of Internal Medicine residency, Cardiology fellowship, and Electrophysiology fellowshipLicensure & CertificationBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and ElectrophysiologyEligible for or holding an active Alabama medical licenseCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationsExperienceEP fellowship-trained cardiologists requiredOpen to new EP graduatesExperienced EP physicians highly encouraged to applySkillsExpertise in device implantation and EP proceduresStrong diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilitiesExcellent communication and patient education skillsAbility to thrive in a collaborative cardiology team environmentCommitment to high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular careCompensation and EnvironmentCompetitive base salary + productivity incentives (commensurate with experience)Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plansMalpractice insurance with tail coverageCME allowance + paid CME timePaid time off, licensing reimbursement, and professional fee supportAccess to modern EP lab technology and advanced cardiology facilitiesStrong clinical, nursing, and administrative support across the cardiac service line
