RBT Training Specialist We are currently looking to hire a RBTTraining Specialist for our Norther Region (Carmel and West Lafayette). The RBT Training Specialist is responsible forthedelivery and documentation of initial training for allLittleStartrainees andRegistered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). In this role,the candidatewill enhance the capabilities of employees by helping to design and conduct training programs that boost employee performance in aligning withLittleStar’smission and vision. This includes assessing training needs as well asthedesign and delivery oftrainingcurriculum. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Deliverinitial trainingto allow trainees to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth onboarding for new trainees and expedite transitioninto the RBT position Assist trainees with applying for certification with the BACB and testing with Pearson Vue Assist with initial and renewal RBT competency assessments Administer, score, and provide feedback on mock exams Provide individual coaching to trainees, as needed Provide support and coaching to trainer RBTs to facilitate effective Behavior Skills Training(BST) Maintain accurate records of trainee progression through training Reserve and prepare necessary audiovisual equipment and training rooms; schedule training times with attendees; and prepareanddistribute training aids such as handouts Conduct regular auditsand provide feedback to RBTs regarding sessionnotes and documentation. Assist the RBT TrainingDirector to facilitate the coordination and tracking of CPR/First Aid training for all clinical staff, as needed. Conduct CPR skills evaluations, as needed Assist with CDI training, as needed Assist with training projects as assigned by the RBT Training Director and Vice President ofCompliance and Training Maintains client, family and employee confidentialityperLS policy and HIPAA Privacy Rule Regulations. Promotes a positive company culture with open communication, respect, and teamwork Educational Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’sDegree in ABA, Psychology, Education or related fieldrequired 2 years +of prior experience conducting ABA Therapy withindividualswith autism Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) required Current CPR/Basic First Aid certificationand skill evaluator certification Excellent written and verbal communication skills Positive team player and energetic professional Ability to design and implement effective training Strong presentation skills Strong organizational and time management skills along with the ability to manage multiple tasks Good judgment and creativethinking skills Ability to communicate appropriately given the circumstances of the situation and individuals involved Ability to learn and manage electronic learning management systems Adept with a variety of audiovisual, multimedia training platforms and methods Experiencewithsupervising othersandproviding performancefeedback on their performance Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite and related program software; Relias experience preferred. Condition of Employment Must successfully pass the initial and updated criminal history, background, and record checks, whichincludesdriving history checks. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This position is based in theNorthernregion of Indiana and will support the locationsofCarmel and West Lafayette. This position operates in a professional office environmentwithanoffice site located in eitherthe Carmel or West Lafayettecenter. This role routinely uses standard office and audiovisual equipment. This position may be eligible for telecommuting per the telecommuting policy depending on organizational needs and at supervisor’s discretion.
