Operations Manager, RSR

Job Overview This position requires in‑role training at an operating site lasting 6+ weeks. The training is located 50+ miles from the home site and all travel accommodations are paid by Amazon. We are looking for a motivated, customer‑focused Operations Manager who will maintain customer expectations by ensuring orders are delivered on time and to the right location. The manager leads and develops a salaried and hourly team, engages staff during shifts, and maintains safety, quality, attendance, and performance. Success is driven by data‑based decisions and analytical problem‑solving. Key Responsibilities Support, mentor, and motivate your team. Lead large‑scope projects with site and regional impact. Create and implement productivity plans through forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other leaders to load‑balance. Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. Collaborate with support teams (Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention, Human Resources) to develop plans that meet business objectives. Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and climb stairs. Work in an environment with variable noise, temperatures, and weather. Delivery stations may include outside loading departments; grocery locations may include refrigerated environments. Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of employee and performance management experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience. Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience. Benefits The base salary range for this position is $91,000 – $136,500 per year. Your Amazon package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
