Registered Nurse - Substance Abuse Program

Our Substance Abuse Program is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for being part of the recovery for those experiencing addiction. The focus will be on Medication Assisted Recovery (MAR) in our Outpatient Clinic, providing patient education, patient assessment, medication administration, clinical documentation, and collaborative communication with the Substance Abuse Team. It takes a compassionate nurse to care for this delicate population of clients. If it’s you, let’s talk about it. Information For more information: Work Life Balance Schedule Monday - Friday (8:00am-4:30pm) + Alternating Saturdays (6:00am-11:30am) The week you work Saturday, you will be off the following Monday. $5.00 shift differential for working hours deemed eligible for weekend premium. Responsibilities Provide patient education. Conduct patient assessment. Administer medication. Document clinical information. Collaborate with the Substance Abuse Team. Requirements Illinois Licensure as an RN or licensure by reciprocity within six months of initial date of employment. Bachelor’s degree or diploma with at least one year of general nursing experience; one year of experience in chemical dependency/behavioral health preferred. Associate’s degree with at least two years of general nursing experience; one year of experience in chemical dependency preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
