Position: Barista, Full-Time
Location: Winfield Street Coffee – Rye
Schedule: Full-time; afternoon and evening availability required (this role is built around closing/PM shifts, not mornings)

About the role
Winfield Street Coffee is a specialty coffee company with locations across Connecticut, and our newest store in Rye is growing fast — full-service café by day, evolving into a real evening destination with a curated cocktail bar, cheese boards, and a wood-fired stone oven. We're looking for a full-time barista who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and wants to grow with us as the store ramps up.

What you'll do

• Prepare espresso drinks, pour-overs, and other beverages to Winfield's quality standards
• Run the register, take orders, and deliver friendly, efficient customer service during our busiest afternoon/evening hours
• Maintain a clean, organized bar and front-of-house area throughout your shift
• Support opening/closing duties as needed, including inventory counts and stocking
• Work closely with the store's management team (GM and Assistant Manager) as a core part of the Rye crew

What we're looking for

• Reliable, full-time availability with a strong preference for afternoons and evenings — this is a must, not a nice-to-have
• Prior barista or customer service experience preferred, but we're happy to train the right person
• Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
• A team player who takes ownership and communicates proactively

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience — to be confirmed
Start date: Flexible, ASAP preferred
