Phlebotomist

Overview Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. We are hiring a Phlebotomist in Silverton, OR to conduct venipuncture, capillary collections, and specimen processing for patient diagnostics. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic assays. Enter patient data accurately and timely into the system. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of a recognized training program, or at least three months’ experience as a phlebotomist. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
