Nutrition with Heart Responsibilities This position may morph and evolve over time depending on proclivity, ability, and agreement about where energy and focus are best directed. Thus, percentage of responsibilities are somewhat malleable and will follow the needs of the company and naturally inclined skillsets. A general outline of workflow is as follows: Appointments with Patients (50-60%) Direct patient counseling – done in person or telehealth Noting/charting as necessary (NWH utilizes AI note taking technology to ease the burden of charting) Synthesizing notes and writing clear, supportive, and encouraging follow-up emails with goals and clarity on next scheduled appointments and next steps Ensure chart note information is accurate and up to date Information for submission of insurance claims completed by the end of each week Responsibilities Associate with Patient Sessions (10-15%) Scheduling – initial appointments, reschedules, no shows, last minute change requests – communication and management of patient volume Accumulation of the quantity of patient sessions at the end of each week/month/quarter. Answering patient questions related to supporting them on their diet and goals Support ensuring patients have a clear understanding of what to do and how to do it Project Creation and Company Development (25-30%) Recipe development (having fun with this!) and/or contribution to company recipe database Nutrition analysis and/or entering data into NWH recipe database and nutrition analysis software Creation of NWH educational content, lessons, and delivery of this content Coordination with social media/admin on content creation, patient scheduling, and needs Nutrition with Heart Community – Participation and Connection (5-10%) Cooking classes, community events, etc. Category Clinical Dietitian Salary Range $60/billable hour Starting Date 9/15/2026 Position Description Core Responsibilities: This position may morph and evolve over time depending on proclivity, ability, and agreement about where energy and focus are best directed. Desired Qualifications Strong preference for applicants already paneled with major insurers. Meaningful Strengths, Certifications, Education And Experience Strength and/or certification in health and wellness coaching Enjoys sharing in client challenges and successes. Previous experience in outpatient counseling, especially private practice, is strongly desired. Recipe modification and/or creation, joy of cooking, experience or education in culinary arts, professional kitchens, and/or food industry Strong knowledge of the cardiometabolic sphere of nutrition and dietetics Enjoys projects, being creative, dedication to excellence Strong background in diabetes, and/or CDCES certification Food Handlers Permit (or ability to attain shortly after hire) Attributes And Qualifications Desired Experience in customer service and/or sales as well as demonstrated excellence in client retention. Thorough, clear, and careful in communication- in all mediums Team-oriented, with mindset of meeting team objectives is highest priority Problem-solver, resourceful, and dependable Kind, courteous, warm Nutrition with Heart will do everything possible to collaborate to create a supportive, energizing, and fun team dynamic.
