Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Buffalo, Minnesota.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: CT Technologist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Start Date: 10/05/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 8 hours, flexible\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Variable, 5x8hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 5, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an evening/night shift community hospital assignment requiring 1+ year of CT experience and Canon/Toshiba scanner proficiency.Details\n \n Community hospital setting supporting outpatient, inpatient, OR, and ER patients\n CT Tech unit with 2 procedure rooms\n Average daily caseload of 50 studies\n Patient ratio of 1:1\n Performs CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and CTAs\n Shift schedule includes Wednesday and Thursday 3:00 PM-11:00 PM and Friday-Sunday 10:30 PM-6:30 AM\n Every weekend work required, working every 3rd weekend\n No call requirements\n No block scheduling available\n May float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital\n Uses PACS system and Canon/Toshiba CT scanner\n Requirements\n \n 1+ year of experience in CT required\n ARRT and BLS certification required\n License required if applicable\n Canon CT system experience required\n PACS experience required\n IV start experience preferred\n Toshiba equipment experience preferred\n Epic/Excellian charting experience required\n Experience in outpatient, inpatient, OR, ER, and community hospital settings required\n Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I experience preferred\n 1 supervisor reference required for consideration\n Additional Information\n \n Perform CT imaging across abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal regions including CTA studies\n Responsible for image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement\n Administer contrast media and perform peripheral IV starts and venipuncture as needed\n Follow isolation precautions, PPE protocols, and radiation safety guidelines\n First-time travelers will be considered\n Locals accepted for this radiology position\n Returning staff must have a 3-month gap since last worked as perm staff or per diem\n RTO ideally no more than 5 days\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-732843.
