Welcome and warmly greet guests on arrival. Manage the efficient and timely seating of our guests to a table that best serves their wishes. This is a tip wage position, so you will be paid that plus tips.

Duties and responsibilities include warmly and graciously greeting all guests upon arrival, opening the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant, recording guest names and the number of people in their party when immediate seating is limited, calling out name and number of party when tables become available, providing guests with estimated waiting time, accommodating special seating requests for guests whenever possible, seating guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations, helping bus tables and help keep floors clean, keeping hostess stand and closet clean and stocked, cleaning all windows in the foyer, stocking bathrooms and making sure they stay clean with hourly bathroom checks, upon seating, offering guests a menu and informing them of their server's name, inspecting table for proper presentation and completeness, relaying messages to servers as needed, thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return, answering the phone with a smile and the correct greeting, and this is a tipped position, hourly pay tends to average between at least $12 to $17. Does vary due to business.

Qualifications include no previous restaurant experience required, being able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours), being able to communicate clearly and effectively in the predominant language(s) of our guests, and must have exceptional grooming habits.

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour.
