Senior Data Systems Analyst

The Information Analyst is responsible for the effective operation and continuous improvement of enterprise platforms and application workflows, ensuring processes are clearly defined, data inputs meet established quality standards, and system behaviors align with business and technical expectations. This role focuses on analytical ownership of platform behavior, validation strategy, and workflow design. The Analyst partners with engineering, product, and business teams to evaluate system performance, define functional expectations, and inform decisions that ensure systems operate predictably and scale effectively.

This is a hands-on analytical role that exercises independent judgment in analyzing system behavior, determining validation approaches, and driving improvements that enhance platform reliability, transparency, and operational efficiency.

To qualify for this role, you must have: Bachelor's degree in information systems, Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience as a data systems analyst or similar role analyzing, testing, and validating data as it moves through pipelines and systems. Hands-on experience with AWS S3 and similar cloud storage systems, including working with structured and semi-structured datasets (relational tables, JSON/XML, log files) as they move through data pipelines. Comfortable testing and troubleshooting APIs and JSON payloads, along with reading logs, schemas, and configuration files in structured/semi-structured formats (e.g., CSV, JSON). Experience testing data and systems within CI/CD pipelines in complex environments, including distributed systems and integrated data pipelines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and product teams. Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have Proficiency with Python and pandas for data cleansing, transformation, and validation. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments. Exposure automation tools or testing frameworks. Experience supporting enterprise platforms or internal tooling.
