Athletic Trainer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Athletic Trainer to join our high school's sports program. As an Athletic Trainer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our student-athletes. You will work closely with coaches, athletes, and medical professionals to prevent, diagnose, and treat sports-related injuries, as well as provide guidance on physical conditioning and rehabilitation. This is a competitive pay position with the added incentive of sign-on bonuses for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess the physical condition and fitness level of student-athletes.
• Develop and implement injury prevention programs and strategies.
• Provide immediate care and first aid for sports-related injuries.
• Collaborate with coaches and medical professionals to develop athlete-specific training and rehabilitation plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records for all athletes.
• Educate athletes on proper nutrition, hydration, and injury prevention techniques.
• Ensure safe and appropriate use of sports equipment and facilities.
• Assist in the organization and execution of pre-season physicals and medical clearances.
• Coordinate referrals to medical specialists when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field (Master's preferred).
• Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) credentials.
• State licensure as required by relevant regulations.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of sports injuries, rehabilitation techniques, and injury prevention.
• Experience working with high school athletes is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
