Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgical Trauma – Georgia

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Schedule: Hospital-assigned shifts; block scheduling not available. Patient ratio of 5:1 with nursing support from techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries during night shift.

• High-acuity surgical trauma floor serving a complex patient population including surgical cases, trauma, gunshot wounds, and spinal cord injuries (quads and paraplegics)

• EPIC electronic medical record system in place for streamlined documentation and communication
• Structured nurse handoff process with ED and admitting unit to ensure continuity of care

• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Minimum 2 years of surgical trauma or related specialty nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts as scheduled by facility
• No time off requests (RTO) available during contract period
