Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you'll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
• BLS Certification
• AHA BLS required
• ARDMS RDMS required at submission
• 3+ years of experience
• Proficiency with general ultrasound, small parts, vascular studies including lower and upper extremity venous, OBGYN including fetal survey and 1st, 2nd and 3rd trimester exams, and pediatric exams including hips, spine, head, pylorus, and intussusception
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient ultrasound

Assignment Details

• Varied 10 and 12 hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• Required to float to other sites
• Inpatient and outpatient setting
• All ages patient population
• Assignment length: 13 weeks
