As part of the inpatient nursing team, you'll be at the heart of patient care, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional clinical support across our units.

Role Overview

As a Clin Coor- IPD Nursing, you'll provide essential clinical support at the unit level, assisting with direct patient care, admissions, discharges, and transfers. Your role is critical in ensuring patient safety, educate staff, and coordinating bed utilization to maintain efficient and compassionate care throughout the hospital stay.

What You Will Do

• Assist with direct patient care, including IVs, blood draws, and assessing patient conditions.
• Support patients throughout their hospital stay, from admissions to discharges and transfers.
• Respond to clinical emergencies and resolve situations that impact patient safety and rights.
• Coach unit staff in clinical practice, critical thinking, and customer service skills.
• Coordinate bed utilization within inpatient hospital patient care units.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• Two to three years of relevant acute care nursing experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Michigan Nursing License.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).

Preferred Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
• ACLS certification.
