A Child Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Louisville, Kentucky. This role involves providing specialized psychiatric care to children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a busy unit environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification obtained onsite, 6 months of experience working with children and adolescents in a psychiatric setting.
• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts weekly, with one 12-hour shift floating to other units, and weekend rotation every other week. No on-call required. Holiday scheduling based on unit needs.
• Float: Yes, may float to other child, adolescent, and adult units.
• Additional Information: Facility provides free parking; scrub color is Galaxy Blue.
