Litigation Attorney - PRIMARILY REMOTE

A financial services company in Bethesda, MD is looking for a litigation attorney to join their team. This is a primarily remote role with an expectation of frequent court appearances and occasional in-office meetings. They are ideally targeting a candidate with 2-3 years of experience but will also entertain candidates who recently passed the MD bar.

Responsibilities:

• Manage civil litigation, breach of contract, and collections matters.
• Handle filings, pleadings, motions, and court appearances.
• Enforce judgments and oversee case progression.
• Respond to litigation-related inquiries and disputes.
• Draft legal documents, agreements, and templates.
• Partner with legal leadership on docket management.
• Analyze financial records and conduct legal research.
• Collaborate with paralegals to improve recovery efforts and processes.
• Maintain accurate case and account documentation.
• Support legal projects and departmental initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Active Maryland Bar membership in good standing.
• 2-3 years of litigation experience.
• Experience with motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management abilities.
• Comfortable using and learning legal technology and AI tools.
• Prior clerkship or internship experience preferred.
