Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor: 2nd Shift

This position plays a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations while supporting employee development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production employees to ensure daily production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved.
• Plan, assign, and monitor work activities to maximize productivity and operational efficiency.
• Foster clear communication and collaboration between shifts and across departments.
• Partner with quality, processing, material handling, shipping, maintenance, engineering, and other teams to resolve production challenges and improve workflow.
• Train, mentor, and develop employees to enhance performance, engagement, and skill development.
• Monitor production schedules, equipment downtime, and scrap rates, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and communicate process improvements to management and engineering teams.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Review employee attendance, timekeeping, and payroll-related information for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain accurate production reports and shift documentation.

This is a permanent position based out of Pittsfield, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $60320.00/yr.

Paid Time Off (PTO) 1st Year: Accrue PTO at 6 hours per month beginning on your hire date, up to a maximum of 8 days. 2nd3rd Years: 8 days annually. 4th5th Years: 13 days annually. 6th9th Years: 18 days annually. 10+ Years: 23 days annually. Additional PTO may be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
