FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Job Summary Full‑time and part‑time Food Service Worker positions at Edina Public Schools. Location: 6754 Valley View Road, Edina, MN 55439. Pay: $18.00 to $19.25 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday with varying hours depending on needs. Prior food service experience is preferred; willingness to be trained is required. Responsibilities Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weigh and measure designated ingredients. Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards. Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils. Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment. Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control. Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service. Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor. Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures. Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior food service experience preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, and early evenings.
