Registered Nurse - Postpartum Care

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a focus on postpartum care. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling patients after vaginal or cesarean deliveries and within the antepartum and transition nursery units. Responsibilities will include providing high-quality care, supporting patient recovery, and educating new parents.

Night shift, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Responsibilities include:

• Administer blood and blood products.
• Manage drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and syringe pumps.
• Provide wound care including Wound Vac management.
• Administer medications such as heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate.
• Deliver OB-GYN, post-operative, and post-vaginal delivery care.
• Conduct normal newborn care including thermoregulation and glucose management.
• Provide discharge teaching to parents.
• Assist in postpartum readmissions.

Required experience/certifications/licensure include:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in postpartum care.
• BLS and NRPF certifications required.
• Comfortable floating to NICU or L&D as needed.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
