Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand the mental health needs of clients, crafting tailored treatment plans that address their unique situations. \n
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services in a manner sensitive to the distinct needs of individuals, groups, and families, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). \n
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers and psychiatrists, to ensure holistic and coordinated care for all clients. \n
- Provide crisis intervention support during acute distress situations, demonstrating compassion and expertise in high-pressure environments. \n
- Engage in community outreach initiatives aimed at increasing mental health awareness and reducing stigma surrounding mental health issues. \n
As a therapist at Haywood Counseling Center, you will serve a varied patient population, which includes individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. This role gives you the opportunity to enhance your clinical skills by working with clients facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n- \n
- Active licensure in Massachusetts as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n
- A completed master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology. \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and develop therapeutic relationships with clients. \n
- Experience in working with culturally diverse populations, showcasing sensitivity and respect for various backgrounds. \n
- Proficient in organizational skills, capable of maintaining accurate and timely documentation within required timelines. \n

- Experience in delivering therapy via telehealth platforms. \n
- Training or certification in specific therapeutic modalities relevant to our client population. \n
- Prior experience in community mental health settings or similar environments is advantageous. \n
